The Decisions Canberra Needs to Make. Speaker: Lindsay Hughes Dr Lindsay Hughes has studied national security issues since 2004. He has Honours, Masters and Doctoral Degrees in National Security. His Honours dissertation examined India's 1998 decision to embark upon a nuclear testing program. For his Masters thesis he assessed the rivalry between India and China in the Indian Ocean, and his Doctoral thesis surveyed implications for Australia of the emergence and growth of the nuclearisation of the Indian Ocean region. Over the past decade he has worked as a Senior Research Analyst during which he authored many articles, with his research focusing on security issues in South and Central Asia, the Middle East, China and the United States. More recently he has been a Senior Counterterrorism Policy Officer in the Federal Government's Countering Violent Extremism Centre of Excellence in Canberra.

Joanne Nova has been a keynote speaker on three previous forums on the energy issues facing the nation. The first forum was in October 2009 titled “Exposing the Carbon Fraud” and the second forum was “Three Easy Ways To Destroy A Perfectly Good Energy Grid” held in November 2017. Followed on 26 November 2023 by “Australia's Energy Grid Vandals!"

David Archibald is a prolific writer and author of numerous articles published in the Wentworth Report. His contacts extend well beyond Perth having lectured at the US Senate in 2011 & 2013. David has a multitude of papers on the climate debate one of which is entitled “Stop the Climate Stupidity”, Get out of Paris and Renewables and Save the Economy, July 2022. He has also published extensive opinion pieces on China's strategic posture in our region which is reflected in his knowledge and definitive analysis of Australia's strategic defence requirements. Broad knowledge on aviation is exhibited in his presentation on “Fighter Aircraft Design” of March 2022.
